Holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cairo University (1984), MA in Management of Construction Companies from the Bartlett School, College of London, United Kingdom (1987), in addition to numerous management certificates from top business schools.

He is the Chairman of SIAC Industrial Construction and Engineering Company and SIAC Holding, in addition to being the chairman and board member in several affiliated companies.

In addition to his role at SIAC, Mr. Ragab serves as Chairman or board member for several public and private associations. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and the World Presidents' Organization (WPO) and a founding and board member of the Egyptian National Competitiveness Council. He is also involved with the World Economic Forum, serves on the board of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) and the Export Development Fund, and is the founder and former Chairman of the supervisory board of the Egyptian Junior Businessmen Association (EJB). Additionally, he is the former Chairman of the Algerian-Egyptian Council. Mr. Ragab actively participates in numerous other organizations and associations.

Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Accounting) since 1970 from Ein-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He made postgraduate studies at Cornell University, USA in the following majors Professional Development, Financial Management, Operation Analysis, and Staff Planning.

For more than 50 years of hard work, Fahmy has acquired a broad base of experience in financial control and executive operational positions in Hotels, Tourism, and Construction Industries, where; in addition to being a shareholder and board member of SIAC Holding Company, he is the chairman of SIAC Holding Company for Development and SIAC Holding Company for Building Material, as well as, the CEO of SIAC Holding Company for Construction. He is also the senior vice chairman of SIAC Industrial Construction and Engineering Company, and a board member of Pyramids Industrial Park Company, Pyramids Zona Franca Egypt Company, Polaris International Industrial Parks Company, Steel Tec Company, Wajhat Advanced Architectural Products Company, Edge Industries Company, Edge Engineering Specialized Works Company, and New Cities Company.

In addition to this, Fahmy is a member of the Egyptian Society for Public Finance and Taxes and a Member of Hotels and Motels Financial Controller Association.
